McKesson’s newly released InterQual ® Learning Source combines various learning modes and technology to deliver curriculum flexibly for InterQual customers. The new training solution offers multiple delivery methods including on-demand modules and is supported by online scheduling, individual online learning plans and electronic testing.
InterQual Learning Source gives customers a convenient alternative to traditional on-site training by combining Web-based modules with virtual instructor-led or on-site instructor-led trainings. The new solution also enables clients to access appropriate training materials, view course transcript data, receive automated email reminders and run training reports.

“McKesson asked us to provide feedback on the InterQual Learning Source while it was in development,” said Sue Almes, CM Training Specialist for University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Corporate Care Management. “We were pleased to see the variety of training modalities. We’re looking forward to more web-based training. Our more experienced users can move along at a quicker pace, while our newer users can proceed at a more comfortable pace.”

InterQual Learning Source gives customers immediate access to the educational tools, resulting in more expedient use of the product. The solution supports various adult learning styles and takes into account users’ skill levels and roles while improving managers’ abilities to monitor the training of their staff.
