Wallops Media Roundtable With NASAs Space Technology Director

Journalists are invited to a roundtable discussion at 11 a.m. EST on Tuesday, Jan. 24, with NASA’s Chief Technologist Mason Peck during his visit to the agency’s Wallops Flight Facility at Wallops Island, Va.

Wallops Flight Facility Director Bill Wrobel will join Peck for the event. They will discuss Wallops’ important role in the agency’s development of cutting-edge technologies and innovations that will enable NASA’s future missions in science, exploration and space operations.

Wallops will conduct critical high-altitude balloon and sounding rocket flights for several major space technology projects during the coming years. The center will test inflatable aerodynamic decelerators for safely returning cargo to Earth from the International Space Station and landing large payloads on planetary surfaces. NASA also will launch a small technology secondary payload aboard a commercial rocket from Wallops this year.

    My understanding of the uatsition, in the depth that is visible to me, would be reflected by those proposals that explain: how a person, or a group of citizens, or a group of financial entities can accept, and tolerate the mentality evoution that is following the acceptance of, a modern way of perceiving personal, family, company and state economy. Financial Intelligence is a term not known to the common citizens of Greece, therefore their political function is not bringing any results for many years already. The Social aspect of the human character has been serving for many years the politicians, to proceed in a citizen-mentality-building, which has no understanding for Finances. Nobody explained to Greeks ever !!! what is a liability and what is an asset !?! Being a businessman in Greece is not the same as in other countries of EU Businessman in Greece is to be a mediator between the producer and the consumer ! The chain of production is not perceived by the people that want to do business as a chain that needs to have sustainability on all levels, and that building a business is actually building a brotherhood between the links’ of the chain. The mediator will push the other links’ to lower the prices in such low levels that the sustainability of the other links’ is lost. The producer will be paid to throw his product in the garbage or close the production unit, the mediator will search for the next victim and the consumer will always pay more than he should for products that finally will be delicatessen quality or imported by a mediator That’s not business , that is easy-come money from provisions and opportunistic sales!!! after some point that system fails in all each levels, all the links are dead, with the final death of the mediator himself Therefore open market and liberated economy are terms that are not understood by Greeks in the sense that would bring a continuous positive outcome for the links of a business chain and that should be finally explained. Politicians are not philosophers for the people anymore they should be !!!Politicians are not rhetoricians for the people anymore they should be !!!Politicians ARE sophists , because that’s the job description -to convince at all costs !! Without financial intelligence , a person cannot judge the sayings of a sophist politician !!Without financial intelligence , a person cannot see that his social connection to politician will actually kill him and his family or his business This is my contribution to this discussion I am confident that the focus is in the correct direction.
